Iran to broaden environmental ties with Austria
Tehran, Sept 25, IRNA – Iran Vice-President and the head of the Department of Environment (DoE) Issa Kalantari on Wednesday called for expanding ties with Austria in environmental issues.
The Iranian official made the remarks at the meeting with Vice Minister for Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management of Austria Gunter Liebel.
Both sides urged developing bilateral relations on waste management, air pollution, dust as well as wetlands.
The countries also reviewed the ways of utilizing plastics and making use of ecotourism.
