According to the Public Relations Office of the Department of Environment, in a decree from Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, President of our country, addressed to Sheena Ansari, the following was stated:
"With reliance on Almighty God and in accordance with the Constitution, the goals of the Vision Document, and the general policies approved by the Supreme Leader (may his shadow be prolonged), while adhering to the Code of Ethics for the 14th Government’s officials and in collaboration with the esteemed Council of Ministers, I trust that you will diligently work towards achieving the government’s objectives and solving the nation's challenges."

Ms. Sheena Ansari,
Based on Article 124 of the Constitution, and considering your qualifications, valuable managerial experience, and executive background, I hereby appoint you as "Vice President and Head of the Department of Environment."
With reliance on Almighty God, and in line with the Constitution, the goals of the Vision Document, and the general policies set forth by the Supreme Leader (may his shadow be prolonged), I trust that you will make every effort to achieve the goals of the government and address the country's pressing issues, all while adhering to the Code of Ethics of the 14th Government’s officials and working closely with the Council of Ministers.

Career Overview of Sheena Ansari
Ansari holds a PhD in Environmental Management and has served in various prominent positions, including Director-General of the Comprehensive Pollution Monitoring Office, Head of the Environment Office in Rey County, Head of the Environment Office in Tehran, Deputy Director-General of the Tehran Province Department of Environment, Deputy Director of Technical Affairs at the Alborz Province Department of Environment, and Director-General of Environment and Sustainable Development at Tehran Municipality.
During her six-year tenure as Director-General of the Comprehensive Pollution Monitoring Office, her notable achievements include establishing the National Air Quality Monitoring System, expanding and improving environmental pollutant monitoring, enhancing the status of accredited environmental laboratories, streamlining self-reporting processes for industries, drafting several key environmental standards, and contributing to the development of the Clean Air Law, its executive regulations, and the Soil Protection Law.
She has also authored several books on environmental topics, published specialized articles in scientific journals, and written numerous op-eds in newspapers addressing the country’s environmental challenges.
